Drummers Rally For Late Win Over Hotspur Reserves

The Tortolita Drummers got a strong performance from pitcher Eduardo Bravo, who stymied the Phoenix offense en route to a 3-2 win at Thunderbirds Stadium. Getting the save was Pedro Figueroa, his 4th. The 7th-place Drummers raised their record to 26-28.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With one out, Jorge González hit a 0-1 splitter from Jim Unknown for a run-scoring single. It put Tortolita in front, 3-2.
"Good to pick up this win," González said.
