Drummers Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Tortolita left-hander Jim Unknown made an effective start against the Calgary Lynx at Lynx Stadium, leading his team to a 3-1 win. The current losing streak for Calgary has reached 5 games.
The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Joey Morgan came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Calgary pitcher Tate Beason, he hit a 2-1 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Tortolita on top, 2-1.
