The Pennsauken Flyers did just enough to secure a 5-3 victory over the Alloway Halberds at Ballpark of Alloway. Nobody did more than pitcher Zach Rediker, who captured player of the game honors. Rediker picked up the win for Pennsauken, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-4. Yajirobei Otomo earned the save, his 8th, for the Flyers.

Tied up with the Halberds in the top of the seventh, the Flyers got a boost from designated hitter Ignacio Martínez. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Martínez saw a 1-0 changeup from Jim Unknown and hit a 2-run double to break the stalemate and put Pennsauken on top, 5-3.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Alloway manager Santiago Vargas.
