The Port Royal Disaster stopped the Calgary Lynx, 10-6, at Ballpark of Port Royal. The Disaster got a big game from Brandon Cooper, who went 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Cipriano Costa earned the save for Port Royal, his 1st of the year. With the win over Calgary, the Disaster improved to 11-20.

When the Disaster needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Cooper who delivered. Facing Calgary pitcher Armando Marrero the bottom of the first with runners on 2nd and 3rd, Cooper hit his 1st home run of the year. It made the score 5-0.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Cooper, "but we got it done."
