Victory Pushes Flyers Record to 9-7
|
The Port Royal Disaster and Pennsauken Flyers provided some drama at Ballpark of Port Royal.
Cipriano Costa pitched well, but the Port Royal Disaster still lost the game, falling 3-2 to the Pennsauken Flyers at Ballpark of Port Royal. The Disaster fall to 5-11 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2027 season.
Pennsauken center fielder Brad Lawrence helped the Flyers go up, 1-0, in the top of the fourth inning. With the game tied, Lawrence hit a run-scoring single off Port Royal pitcher Cipriano Costa.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Lawrence told reporters after the game.
