A 4-RBI performance from the 25-year old center fielder Manuel Becerra helped the Port Royal Disaster beat the Calgary Lynx, 17-3. Port Royal reliever Aukukero Mincarlie Jr. picked up the win to move to 1-0. Morlack Spurgeon suffered the loss. With the loss, Calgary sinks to 7-5.

Also pitching in was Port Royal pinch hitter Mike Green, who hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, Green was 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4.

In postgame comments, Green told the Port Royal Bulletin: "Do people still doubt I give 100%?"
