The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves topped the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 3-1, in USSL Triple A action at Thunderbirds Stadium. The player of the game was Phoenix pitcher and Ft. Wayne, Indiana native Prince Nakamura. Nakamura, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run.
