Youth Beat Sixshooters, 4-2

The Phoenix Hotspur Youth picked up a win at Grenadiers Ballpark, knocking off the Westwood Sixshooters, 4-2. Starting pitcher Millard Dalton played a key role in the triumph. Dalton went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 0, and struck out 4. His record improves to 7-7. The first-place Youth have a one-game lead in their division.
Flexing his muscles for Phoenix Hotspur was Roberto Fierro. The center fielder had a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth for the Youth. It put his team ahead, 1-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Fierro was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I thought we played a nice game," Fierro told the Phoenix Hotspur Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
