Fur Traders Sink Miners, 2-1

The Marquette Miners wasted an inspired, 8-inning effort from starter Daniel Riley, falling 2-1 to the Tacoma Fur Traders at Ballpark of Tacoma. Howard Ritchie nailed down his 1st save. Tacoma's record now stands at 36-38, placing them 7th in the Silver AA.
Tacoma took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, Tim Lehman hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Fur Traders.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Tacoma manager Wesley Ellis.
