Polar Bears Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Rapiers
In a close game at Rapiers Ballpark, the Billings Polar Bears edged the Durham Rapiers, 4-3. Billings designated hitter Gary Malone earned the nod as player of the game after he was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Earning his 1st save for Billings was Jim Unknown. The 6th-place Polar Bears have won 4 in a row.
