The Austin Rangers and Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC obliged those fans who came to Great Northern Field hoping for an exciting game.

The Austin Rangers defeated the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 10-4, at Great Northern Field. Austin center fielder Count Dante was named player of the game for his superb performance. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Art Adams, credited with the win, is now 2-6. He allowed 4 runs on 9 hits in 6.2 innings.

Miguel Morán, the Austin right fielder, contributed a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to make the score 2-0, Rangers. For the game, Morán was 1-6 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
