Rapiers Deal Polar Bears 3-2 Setback
|
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Durham Rapiers got the win.
Durham Rapiers starter Darius Baxa was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Billings Polar Bears, 3-2. With the win, Durham goes to 30-24, while the Polar Bears fall to 22-32.
In the bottom of the third inning, right fielder Tae-shik Ch'oe came through big-time for the Rapiers. With Durham leading 2-1, he belted a solo home run.
Ch'oe said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
