The Phoenix Hotspur Youth picked up a win at Grenadiers Ballpark, knocking off the Bethesda Atoms, 2-1. Starting pitcher Cobus Reijnen was an essential part of his team's success. Alexander Weareorwear, credited with the win, is now 3-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. The Bethesda losing streak has now reached 5 games.
Takashi Miike was the walk-off hero for Phoenix Hotspur. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Phoenix Hotspur second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
