Polar Bears Squelch Westwood Offense in Shutout Win
Both teams had their chances, but the Billings Polar Bears eventually prevailed at Sixshooters Stadium.

The Billings Polar Bears defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 6-0, in USSL Double A action at Sixshooters Stadium, with Billings pitcher Paco Rojas named player of the game. The win puts the Polar Bears at 7-15, while the Sixshooters drop to 10-12.

Fernando Trinidad was a key contributor to the win for the Polar Bears. In the top of the second with two out, the light-hitting first baseman stroked a single to center. He went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

Rojas told a Billings Citizen reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
