Both teams had their chances, but the Phoenix Hotspur Youth eventually prevailed at The Igloo.
Titus Parson never let the Billings Polar Bears find their groove. Throughout the game, Parson, who was drafted in the three round of the 2022 draft, relied on his bread and butter, his forkball, in pitching the Youth to a win. The Phoenix Hotspur Youth, now 9-2, have had a terrific start to the season.
In his 96-pitch effort, Parson allowed 1 earned run on 2 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 8.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Parson said after the game.
