Losing Streak Continues for Doubledays with 6-1 Loss
|
Pitcher Roberto De La Cruz was sensational for the Salt Lake City Buzz in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Tremont Doubledays. De La Cruz received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. This loss makes it 8 in a row for Tremont.
Also producing for Salt Lake City was shortstop Alejandro Herrera, who stroked a triple in the top of the first. For the game, Herrera went 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles. He scored 3 times.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Salt Lake City manager Enrique Zumaya.
