NAPERVILLE BATTLEKINGS AT HIALEAH DODOS
GAME ID: 1836 - MONDAY, AUGUST 30TH, 2027 - GAME LOG
  1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E
Naperville Battlekings (46-44) 0 1 0 3 0 0 1 0 0 5 7 4
Hialeah Dodos (39-51) 0 1 0 0 3 0 2 0 X 6 8 0
Loss to Dodos Extends Naperville Losing Streak
Naperville shortstop Curtis Peters was sensational. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Hialeah beat the Battlekings, 6-5. Peters was named the player of the game despite the loss. Lindsay Novak earned the save for Hialeah, his 2nd. The slumping Battlekings have lost 7 straight.

In the bottom of the 7th, pinch hitter Armando García gave Hialeah the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Dodos had been trailing 5-4, but the two-out double off Naperville pitcher Russ Wood changed that -- and Hialeah went on to win.

"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Bobby Robinson. "But it's got to translate into wins."
