Buzz Win at Bloomington, 4-0
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz picked up a win at Lookouts Ballpark, knocking off the Bloomington Longnecks, 4-0. Starting pitcher Jesús Acosta, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Salt Lake City has a 3-game win streak, while Bloomington has lost 3 in a row.
Ulbert Sutkamp helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run home run to give Salt Lake City a 2-0 lead.
"I like what I saw today," said Salt Lake City manager Enrique Zumaya, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
