|
The Brinkley Belugas topped the Salt Lake City Buzz, 5-0, in M3L Triple A action at Belugas Ballpark. The player of the game was Brinkley pitcher Don Teehan. In 7 innings, Teehan surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 4. He allowed no runs. The win takes Brinkley to 8-10.
The fans who came in support of the Belugas were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Belugas Ballpark.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Teehan told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
