Golden Cranes Throttle Longnecks, 3-0
|
Santa Barbara beat Bloomington on the strength of starter José Ortíz's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 3-0 win. Picking up the save was António Rodríguez, his 1st. The Longnecks drop to 4-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2027 season.
The Santa Barbara dugout showed signs of unrest at times. But the Golden Cranes put this one in the win column with some good pitching and some timely hitting at critical moments.
