The Chicago Hawks powered past the Kingston Township Legion, 10-3, at Cloverdale Legion Park. Jeff Rutherford was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. The Hawks improved to 12-24.

Mike Pace also delivered for the Hawks. The veteran catcher belted a 2-run home run in the top of the second. The longball put Chicago on top, 2-0. Overall, Pace went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
