Sanders Lifts Aviators to Win
|
Seattle Aviators starter Bernie Sanders turned in a top-notch performance against the Vancouver Grey Wolves at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The result was a win for the Aviators, 6-1. Seattle now sits at 56-51, while Vancouver falls to 54-53.
Sanders, who was born in Cleveland, Ohio, threw 133 pitches over 9 innings, while allowing 1 earned run.
"I'll be honest," said Sanders. "I didn't have much left in the tank."
