Montana Pandas starter Jeff Hale was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 4-1. José Muńóz notched his 5th save in 7 chances. Even with the win, the Montana Pandas have a dismal 33-71 record.
Clay Rush had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the seventh for the Pandas. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Montana trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run home run.
"It was a good effort all around," said Rush.
