Maldonado Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Grafton in Walk-Off Win
|
Robbie Baxter was superb against Vancouver. Baxter, who is tied for 6th in the SL with a 8.1 K/9 rate, had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The Grey Wolves, at 52-49, have lost 4 in a row.
Grafton won the game in the bottom of the 13th inning. That's when shortstop Carlos Maldonado hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Middies fans to their feet.
"I had pretty much everything working," said Baxter.
