USPL Double A Names Top Player Monday, July 6th, 2026 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Ed Lastinger of the Asheville Highlanders reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Lastinger rocked opposing pitching for a .464 average (13-for-28), 1 home run and 1 RBIs to come away with the award. To date this season Lastinger is hitting .297 with 4 home runs. |
