Anselmo Berneu Named PAA's Best Player Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 The manager of the Lannister United Lionhearts said he thinks Anselmo Berneu is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 20, but it will be hard to top the catcher's 2026 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .342 batting average and a .426 on-base percentage this year. In 97 games he piled up 132 hits, 24 doubles, 1 triple, 19 home runs, 70 RBIs and 62 runs scored. David Breitling of the Salem Misfits finished second in voting, while Gilberto Rodríguez of the Minnesota Loons finished third. |
