Díaz Scoops up PAA Top Hurler Award Monday, October 5th, 2026 He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Carlos Díaz performed like a veteran on the hill for the Lannister United Lionhearts and walked away with the USPL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process. The 24-year-old Lionhearts star fashioned a 11-4 won-loss record in 2026 with a 2.13 ERA. In 139.2 innings of work and 20 starts, Díaz struck out 102 while giving up 114 hits and 29 walks. He held opposing batters to a .220 average. Luis Castrejón of the Tacoma Fur Traders finished second in voting, while Ricardo Ramírez of the Northville Eclipse finished third. |
