Salem Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Friday, September 18th, 2026 David Breitling of the Salem Misfits said his team's efforts to get into the playoffs fell "heartbreakingly short." But that's the situation they are faced with, as the club is now mathematically eliminated. Before this season, the Misfits last missed the playoffs in 2023. In the 11 years they have been a USPL Double A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 3 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 2 times. Salem last won the PL AA Championship in 2022. |
