The Misfits shortstop banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Ricochets Ballpark to lead his club past the Athletic Club KC Academy. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Ramón Ávila singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
