Athletic Club KC Academy's García Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, September 7th, 2026 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Tony García of the Athletic Club KC Academy reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. García rocked opposing pitching for a .458 average (11-for-24), 4 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This season García is batting .295 with 12 home runs. |
