Northville Dazed, Hernández Gets No-Hitter Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026 Is it better to be good -- or lucky? After his 2-0 no-hitter over the Northville Eclipse he responded, "I don't know," said Minnesota's Jesús Hernández with a grin. "To do what I did, I guess it takes both." On his historic day at Old-Timers Park Hernández made good pitches the entire game, fanned 4 and had 6 walks. When the Eclipse hit the ball hard, they hit it right at someone for an out. But that's how you get a no-hitter -- a lot of skill mixed with a little luck. Thus far this season, Hernández has worked 116.2 innings with 72 strikeouts en route to a 8-4 record and a 2.85 ERA.
