PAA Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 3rd, 2026 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Alejandro Castillo of the Asheville Highlanders reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Castillo rocked opposing pitching for a .433 average (13-for-30), 5 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Castillo is hitting .356 with 6 home runs and 17 RBIs. He has played in 12 games and scored 6 times. |
