July's #1 Hurler Announced: Hernández Saturday, August 1st, 2026 There's something about a young rookie winning the USPL Double A Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Jesús Hernández, a 22-year-old starter for the Minnesota Loons. In July, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 1.22 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 37 innings, fanned 25 and held opposing teams to a .206 average. This year Hernández has worked 88.1 innings with 56 strikeouts en route to a 5-4 record and 3.36 ERA. |
