Vega Grabs PAA Best Batter Award for July Saturday, August 1st, 2026 For a rookie just breaking in, Wilson Vega certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PAA Batter of the Month award for July. The 21-year-old shortstop for the Minnesota Loons hit .333 with 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Vega has collected 69 hits for the Loons this year, 8 of them home runs. He has also netted 24 RBIs and scored 43 runs while batting .271. |
