3AA Star of the Week Chosen Monday, June 22nd, 2026 At the age of 26, Walt Shelton might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Ft. Polk South center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .435 batting average. For his efforts Shelton collected the M3L Double A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 23 at-bats, no home runs and 4 RBIs last week in 6 games. Shelton is currently hitting at a .278 pace with 1 home run, 14 RBIs and has scored 15 times. |
