Ft. Polk South Celebrates Wild Card Win Friday, September 18th, 2026 It wasn't the Menard's AA crown that the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks set out to win, but that didn't stop the players and coaches from celebrating their postseason berth excitedly. "All we've got to do is get hot and the next thing you know we'll be in the 3L AA Championship," said reliever Wally Wilkerson. "Everyone in the league knows we're capable of going on a run and can be pretty dangerous." The club's 57-45 record has guaranteed them a shot in the postseason, where they will be looking for the 1st M3L Double A championship in franchise history. |
