M3L Double A #1 Hurler is Carrión Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 Over the past month Manuel Carrión has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the M3L Double A. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Myrtle Beach Mermen posted 5-1 mark and a 4.20 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 40.2 innings, permitted 36 hits and fanned 36 batters. This season in 14 starts Manuel Carrión has a record of 8-4 with 72 strikeouts in 91.1 innings and a 4.73 ERA. |
