Rodríguez Selected Player of the Week Monday, August 17th, 2026 So far in his young career, Sergio Rodríguez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Myrtle Beach Mermen center fielder hit at a torrid .529 clip as he collected 9 hits in 17 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Thus far this season in 80 games Rodríguez is batting .308 with 13 home runs, 43 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 104 hits in 338 at-bats. |
