Outstanding Pitcher Award Announced, Winner is Gómez Sunday, October 4th, 2026 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2026 has been presented and the USSL Triple A winner is Raúl Gómez of Jersey City. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Gómez. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Sun Caps star told reporters. Gómez excelled with an impressive 11-2 record in 14 starts. In 101.1 innings he yielded 67 hits and 27 walks, while striking out 79 and compiling a fine 1.69 ERA. Miguel Aguilar of the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves finished second in voting, while Shawn Williams of the Houston BC finished third. |
