Season-Ending Injury for Jones Sunday, September 6th, 2026 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Phoenix's Bryan Jones to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 09/04/2026 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Jones said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Jones has been out of action since he suffered a torn rotator cuff. To this point in the season Jones has no saves in 30 relief appearances with a 2-1 record and 3.12 ERA. |
