John Wins SAAA Honor Monday, August 24th, 2026 27-year-old Ray John made a few Vermont headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .609 average. John collected 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 4 runs. In the current season, John has put up a .258 batting average with 68 hits, 13 home runs, 45 RBI and scored 44 runs. |
