Hernández Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, August 10th, 2026 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Triple A, but last week Preston Hernández of the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Hernández rocked opposing pitching for a .412 average (7-for-17), 3 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Hernández is batting .244 with 4 home runs. He has scored 6 runs and driven in 11. |
