Sánchez Sticks it to PAAA Pitchers Monday, July 20th, 2026 23-year-old Albert Sánchez made a few Sunset District headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .478 average. Sánchez collected 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Sánchez is batting .254 this year with 12 home runs, 42 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 58 hits in 228 at-bats. |
