Muñóz Goes on Rampage Against ParksNRec Saturday, August 1st, 2026 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. César Muñóz of the Great Lakers had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today, but he couldn't pull out the victory. Despite his hitting heroics, Pure Michigan fell in defeat 13-8 to the Pawnee ParksNRec at Lansing Park. The 26-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time. It would have been very special, if we had won the game." César Muñóz hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
