Injury Sidelines Trejo for Season Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Hamilton's Dani Trejo to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/09/2026 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Trejo said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Trejo has been out of action since he suffered a broken kneecap. In his stats this season, Trejo has posted a batting average of .304 with 45 hits in 148 at-bats, 5 home runs and 20 RBIs. He has also scored 17 runs, walked 21 times and compiled a .402 OBP. |
