Flamingos Whitewashed by Samson Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 Addie Samson of the Brooklyn Dodgers was on top of his game today. He tantalized the Las Vegas Flamingos with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest and came away with a 4-0 shutout. In the postgame comments, the Las Vegas skipper said, "He had the changeup working. You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower." The Brooklyn hurler had 7 strikeouts, gave up no walks and surrendered 7 hits in his complete-game effort. Samson told reporters after the game, "To be successful in this league, you have to keep the ball down. If you don't, they'll make you pay."
