Injury Sidelines Whitney for Season Thursday, August 20th, 2026 In a news release, the Grafton Middies announced that starting pitcher Craig Whitney would miss the rest of the season due to a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Whitney sustained the injury on 08/17/2026. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. Thus far this season, Whitney has tossed 93 innings in 16 starts, fanned 90 batters, walked 48 and put up a 3.58 ERA with 3 wins and 5 losses. |
