SA Player of the Week Chosen Monday, August 17th, 2026 Youth was served last week as 23-year-old Gonzalo Montés put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other USSL Single A pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Syracuse Storm hurler rang up 17 strikeouts in 16 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.00 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. Currently Montés has a 3-0 won-lost record in 3 starts with a 1.20 ERA. He also has 38 strikeouts in 30 innings. |
