Injury Derails Season for Gardner Sunday, September 20th, 2026 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the D.C. Divided: right fielder Mike Gardner is out for the year. Gardner suffered a torn labrum on 09/17/2026. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. For the season Gardner is currently batting .268 with 22 home runs and 58 RBIs. In 88 games he has reached base at a .345 rate and scored 53 runs to date. |
