Trouble in Richardson City, Mann Suffers Setback Sunday, September 6th, 2026 All is not well with Chriss Mann in his recovery from torn ankle ligaments. The 28-year-old Thundercats right fielder has already reached some significant steps in his rehabilitation, but his manager said that the team will continue to be cautious with Mann and take his progression one day at a time, especially after the setback yesterday. "Yesterday he was feeling pretty good but he didn't do a lot on the field," he said. "Today he was supposed to be on the field doing light stuff and then gradually start working right back up. I think he overdid it." A post-workout examination revealed that Mann had re-injured himself and would now miss at least 2 weeks because of it. This year Mann is batting .256 with 1 home run and 19 RBIs. |
